Fitzgerald's Park is situated on the picturesque banks of the river Lee and spans eighteen acres. It was opened in 1720 and it is accessed via the Mardyke. The park can be found just outside Cork City. It is overlooked by Sunday's Well. It has beautiful landscaped gardens, rich with trees and shrubs. It also contains sculptures by Cork's own Seamus Murphy. There is a natural lake with a fountain. There is a children's playground in the park.
