Fitzgerald's Park, Cork

Named after Edward Fitzgerald, the Lord Mayor of Cork in 1901. Fitzgerald's Park is situated on the bank of the river Lee and spans eighteen acres. The park is overlooked by Sunday's Well. The park contains a natural lake with a fountain, landscaped gardens, rich with trees, sculptures by Seamus Murphy. There is also a children's playground. The Cork Public Museum is in the park. The park is a popular Bank Holiday and Sunday location for families.
